Great product for making tags. Use it all the time. Works great and you can chomp through several layers of cardstock at a time. Also works on chipboard. Also, like the fact that you can chose the size of the angle.

The product works fine, but honestly, don't waste your money. The item is well made, but heavy and cumbersome and then storage is an issue. Way larger than a pair of scissors..more like a Crop-a-Dile size. The paper slips into a V to cut the corner....it takes a minute. The product is way overpriced. I could be a dozen of the cheaper versions of corner croppers and simply dispose of them when they no longer work, as opposed to this one. I do not recommend this product.

These Corner Chompers are a heavy weight lifetime tool. To use you unfold the wings. Make sure the wings are clicked out all the way. Waste is stored in a compartment at the top with a square hinged door for easy removal. The reason they require some skill is that you have to visually see whether the corner of your cardstock is seated right in the middle of the corner punch. The wings do not control positioning exactly. Sometimes I get a punch that is shorter or longer than the others. I have to work at it. This one has a white handle. I also own a pink handled Corner Chomper. I think it's called Angle/Photo. The tag angle cut on that punch is 9/16" which is larger than the 1/2" angle cut marked Large on the white handled tool. Also the two adjacent sides of your cardstock need to be at perfect right angles. These are handier for making tags than using dies in a die cut machine. You can also use them for photo mounts in scrapbooking. They will probably punch through heavier weight materials like leather, pleather, foam, and lightweight chipboard also. You need to coordinate the size of your angle with the size of your tag. A #8 tag will probably look good with the 9/16" or 1/2" angle punch. A too small or too large tag could look stupid with the wrong sized "shoulders".

The We R Memory Keepers Chompers are staple tools for many crafters. I use this tool mainly for mitering the corners on pockets/pages when creating handmade albums. The angle chomper could also be used when making your own tags. Cutting an angle exactly the same multiple times is a breeze with this tool. My hands are small and not strong. So they are tiring for me to use, but I think most crafters would not have this issue. Completely satisfied with this chomper.

These crop-a-dile angle cutters are brilliant, especially if you have weak hands and wrists as I do. There is no effort at all in using them. They are a bit heavy but will last you forever I imagine. I have the white handled one and if I needed a rounded corner pair I would definitely buy them. Will never go back to the little rounder ones I have as they are really hard to press. So unless you are really strong I can recommend them.
