Product Description Hugely extravagant comeback show from the evergreen queen of pop, Madonna. A show in four segments with costumes designed by the creme of the fashion world, Madonna showcases her last two albums 'Music' and 'Ray of Light' with a smattering of old hits for good measure. Conceived theatrically the show contains the infamous 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' flying section involving live martial arts style dance routines, and Ms Ciccione's rodeo ride for 'Don't Tell Me' among other highlights. desertcart.com The Queen of Pop has done it again and offered her fans and music impresarios alike a music performance to be remembered. Drowned World Tour--filmed in her home town of Detroit on August 26, 2001--is both an amazing pop concert and a visually stunning modern dance and multimedia piece encompassing all the recent incarnations of this chameleon-like performer. Never one to shy away from championing new styles in both clothes and music, Madonna is still as raunchy as on her Erotica tour, but Drowned World Tour also offers a much more effeminate and intelligent side to her performance, with a geisha/Japanese performance piece during such songs as "Frozen" and dressed as a Southern-belle line dancer during such songs as "Don't Tell Me." The Drowned World Tour, rumored to be her last live show, proves that Madonna still reigns supreme. --Nikki Disney, desertcart.co.uk Review: OHHHHH Madonna!!! - I must admit that I'm a casual fan of Madonna's music and never attended any of her concerts. I only own the "Immaculate Collection" and was 13 years old when her second album "Like A Virgin" hit stores. When driving down the road, I turn up the radio when her music is on. Now after watching this video, I've seen the light and wonder where have I been all these years. All I can say is "W-O-W"! Madonna is an incredible musician and she really knows how to produce a visually and musically stimulating show. Not to mention that she's a great dancer and vocally sounds better than ever. Those "Evita" voice lessons really paid off. As a choreographer, she understands how to best utilize her dancers especially male. Talk about delicious eye candy - Madonna also knows how to choose the sexiest dancers. I loved every song selection and the accompanying set whether Madonna was solo with acoustic guitar or dancing up a storm with her dancers. "Holiday" was the funkiest that it's ever been and Madonna really knows how to make an entrance. The acoustic version of "La Isla Bonita" was enchanting and showcased her beautiful voice. But "Music" was seductive and funky - the choreography was smokin' hot. I watched this performance twice in a row. The second viewing was accompanied with furious ticket shopping on Ebay for her upcoming Chicago performance. Pick this up as you will not be disappointed! Love you Madonna - sorry it's taken me so long! Review: Madonna rocks! - I think this is one of her best concerts. It's a different Madonna than we are use to. First of all, it's her first concert with video backdrops. Secondly, the theme - one of overcoming abuse and injustice - feeds you off of it's anger. It's really fun. The music is AMAZING! She looks great. It's awesome!

Madonna's Big Tour Comeback
I really enjoyed this show, although like other reviewers I have seen on here, I wished she had done a little more older material. Still, you have to understand she had to catch up her last three albums, since there was no tour right after Bedtime Stories or Ray of Light. Most of the show has material from Ray of Light and Music, which were two really good albums. She opens with "Drowned World (Substitute for Love)", and then dives right into "Impressive Instant", one of the best from 2000's Music. There were a few songs I wouldn't have included personally. I think she should have replaced stuff like "Candy Perfume Girl", which I don't think is a terrible song, I just wasn't feeling it for the show. It kind of fit into the creepy skin head-punk theme she had going on though. Also, "Beautiful Stranger" isn't a bad song either, but it didn't do much for me live. We also could have done without "Mer Girl" as a live song. It's nice and pretty, but kind of makes the energy and fun come to a screeching halt. The images of a bruised and bloodied Madonna weren't very flattering either. Still, I could understand the way the show worked; almost as if it was all a juxtoposition of beauty and ugliness. I liked it because it was a departure for her usual live fare, but some of the costumes and hair were just hideous! I hated the Kill Bill/ninja outfit for "Sky Fits Heaven", but I did enjoy the jumps and kicks. I did like the "Frozen" costume-that was amazing and should have remained on stage for longer than it did. I liked that they included one of the remixes of the song as well to mix it up a bit. I love "Nobody's Perect" as a studio song, but not live. By then, I was a bit over the whole Madonna-as geisha thing. "Nothing Really Matters" might have made a better song somewhere in however. The western set that included such songs as "Don't Tell Me" and "Gone" were really good and "Human Nature" was a much welcome return to older material. Loved the mechanical bull! It was all very cute and well done. "The Funny Song" was not very necessary, and though it was meant to be novelty, was stupid to those who wanted maybe an older song in it's place. Also, I think the Dixie Chicks have already made a song about killing and cooking a no good man. "Secret" was one of my favorites! I absolutely love this song played live. The last couple of sets were the best in my opinion. I loved "What it Feels Like for a Girl" in espanol (could have done without the remix with the accompanying disturbing anime on the screens). Of course, "La Isla Bonita" was brilliant, and the usual closers "Holiday" and "Music" were right on point. Overall, it's a DVD worth buying. Madonna is a genius at putting all this together with so many different themes and ideas. While I disagree with a few apects of it, mainly song choices, it wasn't my show. It was Madonna's show and I'll get over it. I do like some of the other tours a little better though. But it's all good!

Amazing.
I have been a Madonna fan for four years now, and have found this show to be amazing and quite an experience! It was shorter than I felt it would be but very well done, Madonna, once again! I got the chills when Nobody's Perfect was performed and the way Human Nature ended. The only negative was how short it felt.

say what you will
say what you will but she knows how to entertain and brought something different to the table at a concert.... makes paying out $100 or more for tickets worth it.

Spedizione e arrivo impeccabili come sempre. Lyrics e sottotitoli in inglese utili e comodi.

Good show with mainly songs from ray of light and music. La Isla Bonita and holiday are the only old ones in this show
