Fpr NM cable (nonmetallic) there is 14/2, and 14/3 wire which normally come with a bare ground wire. There also is 14/2, and 14/3 BX cable (metal cable) with either a bare ground wire or a green for ground wire. Amd no, it can not strip more than one wire at a time. You would need to remove the plastic or metal first, then strip each wire individually. **Q: How well does it strip 12 gauge or thicker wires?** A: Quite well. I got mine last summer while working on a boat restoration. Most of the wiring is 16 thru 10 gauge and it worked great. Don't think it will work on 4 or 6 gauge.
