I'm 6'3" and didn't find it too short. It is comfortable to wear and the two pockets are convenient for storing extra batteries and cards. What I really like about it, though, is the fact that you can disconnect the strap quickly with the snap buckles. This is especially useful for me since I have been using my camera for astrophotography - I can quickly disconnect the strap before connecting to my telescope or also when I mount it on my tripod.
