I have use this very same strap to remove, install and move batteries from one location to another in a facility. The strap is light weight, extremely convenient, and durable. I've had the same strap for about 4yrs now with no issues. Don't know what others have experienced with said strap, but I know myself and my other battery techs have not had any problems. Would recommend use. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars This is not how you remove an electric forklift battery *by S***O on Reviewed in the United States on August 7, 2021* As someone who has worked for 30 years in the forklift industry and is a Hyster Certified Master Technician in all areas of forklift service, I can assure you this is NOT an acceptable lifting device to remove the batteries they are saying they can. Electric forklift batteries can weigh in excess of 6000 pounds in the higher voltage batteries. If you lift a battery like this with this sling you will cave the walls of the battery in, thereby breaking the cell casings inside. I've seen it happen. And at $4000-$8000 per battery, that is an expense you do not want to incur. The proper way to lift a battery like this out is with a load spreading beam type battery puller, where the lifting hooks that go into the battery case are adjustable to move horizontally so they are directly over the lifting holes in the battery and you pull on the beam from a central point in the middle.
