First Data FD410 EMV Wireless Credit Card Terminal - used for a couple months, in perfect condition. Includes power supply, two rolls of thermal receipt paper Review: Five Stars - Very happy with the machine, thanks Review: Never - don't order one!!!! - This is re: First Data FD410 DW EMV Wireless Credit Card Terminal Sold by: aWorld Networks Inc $285.00 Worst investment I ever made. Once you get this refurbished credit card terminal from this aWorld Networks (a "third party" seller) - you have to then contract privately with First Data. OK, I'm thinking - no problem. Contacted First Data - whiich quickly said this model was out of date and offered to provide me with a new one free of charge, in exchange. So I sent them this terminal and received their updated one - but it didn't work. First Data then exchanged that one for yet another (now number 3, in case you're counting). Still didn't work. (In the meantime First Data had charged me a starting contract fee of $75.) After extensive time trouble-shooting with First Data, they decided it must be an issue with my wireless. (Though I tried it at other locations with potentially better wireless and it still didn't work.) First Data shrugged and said they couldn't help me further - and that unless I returned their terminal, THEY would charge me $400 for it. I returned it to First Data. Did I get back my original "third party" model for a potential return/reimbursement from "aWorld"? No - they claimed they couldn't as it at already been warehoused and no way to track it. So - I'm out $285., to "aWorld", plus $75. startup/contract fee to First Data. (And NO terminal). What a racket!!!
