How often should i use this? everyday? i've read that adding too much ammonia at one time can actually prolong cycling time so i just want to be sure.

Use a liquid testing kit for ammonia daily when using this product. I kept my ammonia levels at about 2 or 3 ppm. Once the ammonia starts to decrease, test for nitrites. Keep ammonia around 2ppm until nitrates appear. Once nitrates appear, you should be pretty much done.
