It's a nylon bag that would probably hold approximately 2 maybe 3 (thin) suits. There is no fancy clip or anything at the top to hold the hangers in place, which makes the loop at the top rather useless (seeing as you really need to hold your suit by the hanger).If you're looking for something cheap to cover a suit during travel (like I was), this will work out well for you. I actually bought this for my husband who commutes to work and needs to store his suit coat and overcoat in it. This will be left in a common area that has hundreds of others' black garment bags hanging. What I do like about this is the zipper works flawlessly and is sewn in at an angle across the front of the bag making for easy access and removal of clothing. The extra length of this bag will also make it more roomy to get items in and out and also easily found among others' black garment bags as it will hang a little longer. It has a roomy extra pocket on the bag side perfect for shoes, gloves, etc and again the zipper works flawlessly. Also like that the area for the ID tag is on the far left of the bag for easier reading when searching among other hanging bags that look identical. The construction of the bag is also of good value for the money spent. All the seams have a bias tape over them and appear to be sewn very securely. Granted this is not a heavy duty garment bag, nor does it have the price tag of one, but for the $ you pay it is a great value made of a durable nylon that will get the job done. Construction is gusseted and could certainly hold 3 suites for those that have that concern. As for the hanger secure at the top there is one and I am not sure why others say it is useless, on my bag it works exactly as a hangar secure should.
