Rayovac Brilliant Solutions 3-AAA Battery LED Flashlight, Twin Pack, Color May Vary

Historically in my family, flashlights never had enough battery power. They all use to run on D batteries, which were expensive and seemed to run out of juice by the time you walked from one end of the house to the other. My moth also loves to buy those bargain battery packs that combine AAs and AAAs, but nothing ever uses AAAs, so we have vats of the things. This is a tiny, cheap flashlight, but it makes use of those otherwise useless AAAs, and with the LED, it is both beautifully bright and lasts a LONG time on the AAAs. Best. Flashlight. Ever.

It's a good flashlight, shines well from 5 ft(to the back of my closet). Would probably shine farther. I don't know how durable it's going to be. It feels really light. The one I received was RED! I like the color, but it's not what I expected. So, be aware that the color of your product may differ. The beam isn't a just a circle it's more like a circle with a ring around it. Similar to a planetary ring. I prefer one clear beam but it's not that big of a deal. For around $6 a piece it might be possible to get a couple better flashlights so this product is okay but not quite 5 stars.

Light weight and bright. We keep this pair sealed in a closet for storm season.

We put one in our carry-on luggage. Gives plenty of light for navigating dark walkways. My grandson left one on for several hours and it still was bright. We own four of these.

Aside from the fact that neither flashlight worked out of the package, these flashlights feel very cheap in the hand. The seams aren't lined up or joined properly. The material of the unit itself feels brittle. The battery holders are made of a soft plastic that bends out of shape when the batteries are inserted. When I ordered these flashlights I did not expect "top of the line" units, but I didn't expect a product that is so "junky" feeling. Another thing that I find curious is that some other reviewers have noted that there is a "low" setting for these flashlights, I saw no mention of any such setting on my packaging. I can't speak with authority as to whether the setting exists or not because as I mentioned before, my units didn't work right out of the packaging. Needless to say that even if they had not been defective, they still are a disappointment. Yes, I did return them. I recommend you look at the Energizer or Duracell flashlights when shopping for a lower cost light for casual use around the house.

I got this flashlight for hiking and motorcycle camping, initially because of its compact size and supposed performance. This great little light has outperformed my best expectations. On LOW beam it performs a little less than my trusty 3Dcell Maglite. On high beam it outperforms my 3Dcell Maglite. My Maglite has taken a back seat to this light as I now use it everyday around the house. Great little flashlight. Highly recommend it. Mark

Won a pair of these at a party and have used them for 4 years now. They are the only lights in my house that I can find and know will work everytime. There are way better lights for special purposes and longer viewing distances, but if you want a simple low cost light that will last for years and take a few drops then this is it. Bought several for my factory coworkers and they last (when they don't walk out the back door).
