Rumba Multi-Sport Bluetooth Helmet

This helmet was a game changer for me. My husband is an avid cyclist and we bought an e-bike for me to join him- however communicating was very difficult. One of us would ride ahead and have no idea the other was stopped or had an issue (or in my case, a crash). This helmet allows us to hear eachother - even over traffic, wind, distance... it has been awesome. Pros: I also use it to listen to music, make phone calls, etc., as it connects to my phone over bluetooth- anything you can do with earbuds, you can do with this helmet. The sound quality is amazing- my husband and I often joke this company should work withh cell phone companies for phone mic's as the sound quality is so much better than my cell phone. If you ride as a pair, I cannot recommend this helmet enough. Cons: As for comfort, I hate the feel of any helmet, and this is no different - I hate chin straps and things close to my throat- but that is a 'me issue' not an issue of the helmet - I will say there is a cover over the chin strap that does help make this tolerable. The helmet sits a little high on the head and it isn't as lightweigh as my regular bike helmet - so it took a bit of getting used to. Nothing too bad - a few minutes after starting the ride, I don't notice it anymore. The app and instructions to set it up and complete the updates were aweful. But once you get it set up the first time, it is really extremely easy to connect and use on your rides. Despite the Cons above - this helmet is 100% worth the buy.

I love this helmet. Good speakers, they sound good, the mic is surprisingly good, it fits well almost forget it’s on sometimes. The functions are easy to use and volume is simple to adjust. Great value. We need 2 more now

Support – For all intents, non-existent. I did receive a reply, but it was a canned reply to check the FAQ, clearly no attempt was made at all to actually read the support case. I did update the firmware to 1.06 using the supplied app on my WIN10 device. Here were my issues: (Self discovered solutions are at the end.) 1. Phone pairing - I did not want any phone pairing. I simply wanted to use these away from the world, but be able to talk on the intercom to my significant other. When you turn on the device, it immediately goes into pair mode and beeps forever. I wanted to get out or paring mode and never pair a device. 2. Pair the intercom – the only reason I got these was for the intercom. After much pain, I was able to pair them, but when you turn them off, it appeared that the pairing was lost. (Turns out it was not.) But see #1 above, when you start fresh, it beeps for a phone pairing. Solution for #1 – Just hit any key and the pairing stops. Not documented anywhere. After that, the intercoms are dead, and it seems you need to run the re-pair process. Solution for #2 – This is actually documented, but terribly. They refer to this as an ‘Intercom Friend.’ I did find a video for another Sena model, whereas once you turn off the phone pairing noise, you hold down the “-“ minus key for one second. That turns the intercoms on for your ‘friend’. These are descent enough, the audio quality is as fair. The WIN 10 interface is clunky. Docs are terrible. UPDATED to 4 stars - the intercom does work very well and the units are comfortable.

I ordered two of these. The first was the wrong size. Despite this, I updated the firmware to the latest available and tried to get it up and running anyway. I wanted to pair it with the Sena Pi which my wife ordered. We never did get the intercom feature working. I was able to pair it with my phone but it continuously disconnected and re-connected. This was frustrating as it needed to stay connected in order to link the 2 Sena devices together for intercom reasons. I was able to link them as far as the app was concerned but the feature never actually worked. The second one I received was the correct size but had exactly the same issues with not staying connected. The Sena Pi had the exact same issue as well. We are returning all 3 products. The Bluetooth audio did work. Sound quality wasn't great, there is no low end at all. It was weird that the audio was continuous despite my phone showing that it was continuously disconnecting and re-connecting.

I was very impressed with this helmet. Got two so we could talk while riding bikes. Very clear sound with no wind noise. The helmet itself is comfortable to wear.

Will not connect to the other helmet

My husband and I have e-bikes and these helmets are the best at keeping us connecting even though we are on separate bikes. I can hear my husband really well and we highly recommend them.

First I tried this out with my daughter then with my grandson and they are great I have three, one for me, my 11-year-old wears one and a 9 year old is riding in the trailer wears one also.

Top Helm! Sitz gut, kein drücken, ziehen, schwitzen. Hoher Tragekomfort. Nutze ihn beim Rad fahren. Die Bluetooth Funktion mit dem Handy ist einfach genial und der Oberknaller die Kopplung mit dem 2.Helm. Die klappt echt einwandfrei über 400 Meter. Handy ist dafür nicht erforderlich. Die Sprachqualität und eingebauten Lautsprecher sind optimal eingebaut und abgestimmt. Guter Sound, kein knacken, Rauschen keine Windgeräusche. Eine Helm-zu-Helmverbindng geht auch mit weiteren Helmen. Telefonieren per Sprachbefehl, Anrufe annehmen/ abweisen geht auch. Bei Telefonaten wird die Helm-Helm Kopplung automatisch getrennt, nach Gesprächsende wieder aufgebaut.Helm ist sein Geld wert.Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Increíble!!!! Cuando lo compré me parecía caro. Cuando lo encendí y me habló en chino casi lo devolví. Pero lo configure con la app, me lo puse y me encanto la ergonomía que tiene. Apenas pesa y suena muy bien en verdad. No es como llevar auriculares es más como si llevaras un altavoz en la mochila. Pero suena bastante bien y es muy cómodo.

Utilisation quotidienne en velo électrique. Légèreté et facilité d’utilisation.

der Helm passt sehr gut, die Lautsprecher könnten etwas lauter sein, das Mikrofon ist leider ziemlich mies. Telefonieren im Fahren geht praktisch nicht.
