I purchased this renewed DualShock 3 (Model: CECHZC2E) about a week and a half ago, and for that time, it was an excellent controller. Upon inspection, I confirmed it houses the updated A2 motherboard revision, and physically, it felt like a brand-new unit. The tactile experience was spot on—the button response, trigger bounce-back, and analog stick tension were perfect. It handled everything I threw at it, running PS1, PS2, and PS3 titles (both physical and digital) with zero issues, and it held a solid charge during wireless play. However, after 10 days of reliable use, the controller suddenly ceased all function. I have performed a thorough diagnostic protocol: I used the reset pin on the back to attempt a hard reboot. I tested the controller with four different, verified-data USB cables. I attempted to charge/connect it through multiple host devices, including my PS3, PS5, Xbox, and PC. Even when plugged in, the unit shows zero LED activity. Given that the shell and buttons are in such pristine condition, it appears to be a sudden failure of the battery or the internal charging circuit despite the upgraded hardware revision. It is a major disappointment, as the controller was performing perfectly until this point. I am now seeking a return as the unit is completely non-functional. It is OEM hardware quality without a doubt. All Sony responses are crisp and without hesitation. However.... The battery charge barely lasts 5hrs of use. So, I am left to believe that this unit has been sitting for years and years (which a PS3 age is commensurate with). Keep that in mind when ordering.

Best seller to buy from always work got a lot of angry little kids up at the youth group so controllers get messed up a lot these guys always come through

I would strongly avoid purchasing from this group. Bought one controller, it was shipped with the wrong charging cable, was clearly heavily used and not remotely cleaned to refurbished. Originally this was advertised as brand new and not refurbished. It also would not hold a charge and the PCB inside had a defect with button input on the d-pad. I requested a replacement and shipped the first back. Unfortunately, the replacement was shipped with the wrong charging cable again. The right stick was broken (the thumb piece) and did not charge or even power on. Now been a week after i shipped both back and refund is hold up. Filed a complaint and will escalate immediately if i am not refunded. If anyone comes across this review, i would steer clear and if you do buy, be cautious of the product.

The remote came fairly good does everything it needs to accept for the up button does not work joysticks work perfect and the rest of the buttons as well

Con detalles mínimos pero si es original y funciona bien

El control funciona, pero tiene defectos, por ejemplo: cuando juegas el botón L3 se queda pegado y el personaje del videojuego avanza sin que muevas nada. Entiendo que es reacondicionado, pero yo quería algo original y los botones se ve que los remplazaron por unos de menor calidad que lo original y el precio es bastante elevado como para los detalles que tiene. Aún de lo anterior, me quedo el control para poder ponerlo en optimas condiciones y tener algo original.

Lo he probado unas 2 semanas y está genial, me pase TLOU y funciona genial. El control está en buenas condiciones, la carcasa no parece ser original, pero a la hora de jugar se siente bien, las palancas tienen buena precisión se sienten mejor que cualquier copia; diría que un 8/10 en precisión, los gatillos rechinan un poco pero tampoco se nota al jugar. Por el precio está más que bien, he gastado cerca de 3000 pesos mx en controles copia y son una basura comparado a este, vale totalmente la pena. La batería dura demasiado, tiene vibración y movimiento de Sixaxis 10/10. Probablemente lo compre de nuevo. *DETALLE IMPORTANTE* el control no cargará con el cable que viene, necesitan comprár uno que sea especialmente de datos y carga, de lo contrario no les cargará la batería.
