Zymox Topical Hot Spot Spray for Dogs and Cats with 1% Hydrocortisone, 2oz

It’s working and my dog has stopped licking the hot spot. I get that there may be some dogs that may lick through the taste but luckily it has deterred mine and the wound is healing. Dog type: lab, male

My 15 year old female cat has had a large spot of raw and weeping sores for well over a year. She has gone through a course of oral steroids, topical wipes and creams that have healed her only to a point. The sores would dry out, thus starting the cycle of cracking and opening sores again. Bless the previous reviewer! I tried this spray ( which unbelievably my cat didn’t mind at all) and she is now almost a hundred percent healed after five days, twice daily applications. I will continue for all of the recommended seven days. Wonderful stuff!

6 years 4 vets with no answers to crusty fungal scratching bloody mess. This spray softened areas. I was able to massage areas clean. My cat relaxed from itching. He washes oily areas but no scratching. I am on day 5. Areas staying clear. Fur coming back. So thankful for this product. 10 stars if possible

Our Labrador Retriever has a lot of allergies, and his ears, neck and elbows itch frequently. Our veterinarian had recommended another topical spray that requires a prescription, but it is no longer available. We were looking for something to give our dog some relief from the itching, and the veterinarian recommended that we look for a good cortisone spray. PROS: 1. This spray has a higher amount of cortisone than most of the other sprays we looked at. It has worked the best to relieve itching of any cortisone spray other than the prescription spray we can no longer get. CONS: 1. The bottle is only 2 oz, and with a large dog it may not last very long.

This stuff is like a miracle in a bottle. My cat has Miliary dermatitis (essentially an allergy caused skin condition which causes hot spot like sores). In the past, she has had to receive antibiotic shots in conjunction with oral steroids to rid the sores. In an effort to find another solution to avoid frequent antibiotic injections, I gave this spray a shot. Whala! Gone within 2 days of application everytime. Safe to ingest, easy to apply (minus a few inevitable claw marks). Highly recommend giving this a go for your cat or dog!

I used this on my cat when he has severe itching problems. I found out he is allergic to flea bites and it caused skin problems and itching. This really helped to relieve the itching and made it possible for him to lay down and rest for a few hours before needing to reapply to stop the itching.

Arrived promptly. I use this spray to dab on occasional hot spots to relieve itching and it seems to work well.

Worked as intended.
