Timbuk2 Bender Laptop Backpack

This is my first Timbuk2 purchase and I like it. The bag is well made, feels sturdy. I wanted a simple, usable bag and this is exactly that. Doesn't have too many compartments that I would never end up using anyway. The laptop compartment is not padded on the inside, but it is slightly raised from the bottom so there is no risk of hitting it if dropping the bag on a hard surface. I use it for a 15" laptop with no sleeve.The only thing I'd change is add an extra bottle sleeve on the side. The bag only has one, not enough for a coffee tumbler and water bottle.

I bought this when I started riding my motorcycle 2 years ago. It has become my daily use bag for everything since. I've used it while walking in the city, to go for a ride on the motorcycle, as a laptop bag, as a weekender pack. It's held up extraordinarily well. I'm very hard on packs and this thing has been there and back again and still looks and feels new. 5-stars. If I ever need a new pack it will be one of these.Update years later: This pack is still going strong. I'm amazed at how well it has held up. There is a small tear between the two sections. Otherwise, it is still like the day I bought it. I've been horrible to this pack and it's been nothing but dependable.

Overall, I'm satisfied with this. I take in on 15-20 mile bike rides each way to work (~40 mile round trip). Still get back sweat but not as bad as my old backpack, but aside from getting away from using a bag, I realize that will still be an issue.The bag is a little long, though I'm only 5'6.I like it- haven't tested it in the rain yet, but hopefully it keeps my stuff dry!

I love this bag, use this bag, recommend this bag. My only caution is that it just doesn't have a ton of small pockets inside which can be annoying if you are like me and have a couple devices, notepads and cords with you most days and don't want them all jumbled in the outside pocket or too big to all fit in the small inside pockets. Otherwise, awesome bag for your computer, some books and a couple small things.

This is a great looking bag that appears to be very well made and durable. Timbuk2 likes to promote the sternum strap on the bender backpack but mine showed up without one. The bag was heavily discounted so I only dropped 1 star for this but it's a little deceptive as I can find no way to tell that this bag is any different from the bag Timbuk2 shows on their website. Overall satisfied but annoyed.

I'm a full time student. I bought this to replace a Dakine Eve Women's Backpack that I used for a little over 2 years, 6 days a week until the lining starting peeling which almost drove me insane. Immediately I noticed this backpack made a huge difference on my back. It distributes the weight of what I carry (I drink lots of water)in a way that does not hurt my back. It holds everything (school and personal items), easily fitting my 14.1 HP laptop. I can't vouch for the durability since I've only been using it for a few weeks now but it seems well made. I would definitely recommend this product even though I haven't used it for long, I am very happy with this purchase.

My daily bike ride to school is a 20 mile round trip through hot Houston humidity and this backpack has become my favorite companion. It sits perfectly on my back, keeps the sweat on my back to a minimum and easily holds everything I need for my classes and the gym. My favorite part are straps on the back, I use the top one to fasten my helmet securely to the pack and the bottom as a clothes line for my towel and riding gear. This will be my third purchase from Timbuk2 and I've been pleased with them all, the quality is fantastic.

Spacious and light, very comfortable, but not enough internal separators/compartments. Good laptop protection that fits my 17" MacBook Air or 16.5" HP laptop.

生地が若干薄いので中の荷物が動きやすいのと防水に関してはあまり効いてません。タフな使用目的にはちょっと無理です。ショルダーパッドも薄くペラペラなので荷物が軽い時は快適ですが、重いとそれなりに身体に食い込みます。
