Solid construction and happy with how it was made and how worked. Easy to open and close. Utilized the GoPro remote attachment and it held the remote securely to the pole. Used it on a Private boat trip to the Bahamas for 2 weeks. On the boat, dingy rides, hikes on remote islands, and snorkeling. The only issue I had was after use in the water, the pole filled with salt water. After use, opening and closing the pole numerous times got the water out of the pole. Being an extension pole, this is probably to be expected and not a big deal. The pole continued to work just fine. My only concern and question is internal corrosion from the salt water. If there was a way to open the pole up and flush it out with fresh water, I'm sure that would prolong the life of the product. Is there a way to do this without ruining the connections ? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Best Quality Pole Out There *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 31, 2018* I just got back from 18 days in Hawaii and this pole and the GoScope GoPro camera waterproof housing were my two favorite pieces of equipment. It's absolutely top notch quality and my camera mounts and unmounts in a flash. I used it for snorkeling almost every day and it handled the water beautifully, no issues at all. Here's a cool tip; fish care where you are but they don't pay much attention to a stick with a small camera on the end. With the Go Scope pole fully extended I got awesome shots right up in their faces, plus I got the camera down to their level so I was mostly shooting horizontally as opposed to down from above, which is a much more personal perspective. This stick rocked for getting close to the action. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Only one extender works after first use … *by A***D on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2021* One feature makes me give this a low rating, and it’s that one of the extensions will not open after the very first time I used it. The last extension, closest to the GoPro housing still opens and extends, the one closest to the handle won’t. This is the second of these I’ve had that does the same thing. I only have half of the length. If not for that, this would get 5 starts. The grips are good. The quality of the rest of the stick are really good.
