The product is made of a tough, rugged material. The material can be easily wiped and is liquid resistant. The seat itself is slightly padded. The Car Seat Protector came with a stretchable strap to put around a backseat headrest. Along the bottom of the seat is a mesh storage area, to put in toys, tissues, small toys, or any other small items.The Good: I drive a 2013 Ford Escape and this car seat fit great!
