It's not absorbent, it just moves stuff around and after a week of using it, my ears were so sore I had to go back to the cotton buds and there was a lot of build up. I feel bad leaving a negative review because I love the concept and we should absolutely be doing more to help the environment but for now I'll have to stick to bamboo cotton buds. Hopefully I'll find another use for it because it's pretty pricey for an ear bud and I don't want to throw it away - really defeats the whole point!! I'm hoping they will develop a sponge version which would be less painful and more effective at cleaning. ### ⭐⭐ Scratches that itch, zennishly *by A***G on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 April 2021* I really wanted to like this, and it’s great for having a satisfying scratch in your ear, but it’s no good, for me, for removing wax.I imagine that for some people it will work fine, but I felt I was moving wax around but never removing it.
