I hate that. I'd like to make my own ringtones so that I can use the same ringtones for callers on my cellphone and home phone, and so I can use a snippet of my caller's voice as their custom ringtone. It is really disappointing to me that this device has all the technology to make that easily possible, but they've restricted it to ringtones they sell. What I didn't expect was that my daughter (14) mentally retarded, recognizes the phone tunes and knows who is calling too! She never has had the opportunity to use the phone and now recognizing the tunes can answer the phone for the first time ever! She is now requesting more tunes for extended family members. If you should have a child or know of a child with limited abilities - this is a great product to expand their horizons!
