I got this to read codes on European cars ,It worked perfectly as other code readers I had wouldn't read European car codes ,plus for such a low price this is a top of the line scanner. Highly recommend!

Works great and it is easy to use. Won't clear codes. It has the option but fails everytime. Not sure if it's the unit or the car. Otherwise it's 5 start all the way

Small yet has a long enough cable to comfortably use it while sitting in the car or standing next to it. Read the engine code perfectly on my 2021 F150 Powerboost and allowed me to repair my truck.

I had a recurring check engine light on my seldom used “spare” car. Had a mechanic test and it was a gas cap issue. Well, periodically it comes back and I needed a way to verify. This device is simple and got the job done without bothering a mechanic. I think it’s a basic tester and maybe not what a pro would use, but for quick and easy determining if the problem is serious or just annoying, it’s perfect. I did get a new gas cap and check light hasn’t returned. Recommended.

Un 10 para el precio que tiene hace su función tiene diagnosis de muchos códigos español todo vale para Toyota Corolla muy fácil de usar y te saca de dudas en caso de avería, es simple, hay otras mucho más caras que traen más opciones y funciones que se pueden hacer claro, pero por este precio es una muy buena máquina muy recomendable para al menos tenerla y salir de dudas con las averías que pueda marca la unidad

Bought this scanner after my check engine light came on. It turned out to be a loose gas cap which from the other reviews seems to be a commonality. The scanner was very easy to use, i just looked up online where the ODB2 port on my subaru was and then i plugged it and and was able to read the code within a few minutes, and confirmed the issue. After tightening the gas cap, it still persisted, so I used the scanner to manually clear the check engine light. Very simple and effective. I like that it doesn't require batteries, a phone app, or a subscription like everything wants you to these days. It's a simple plug-and-play tool that does exactly what I need: read and clear engine codes. For the price, it has already paid for itself by saving me a trip to the mechanic. If you're looking for a basic, reliable code reader to diagnose the lights on your dashboard to have more peace of mind, I would definitely recommend it.
