MinkSheen Pet Shampoo - 128 oz

Great shampoo that leaves hair feeling soft and smelling great! The smell is strong and I find it great, but some people don’t like it. It does help loosen the hair for shedding dogs, making it easier brush it out. I have washed may dogs with this and have had very little issue with skin reaction.

We run a professional dog grooming salon ... and after trying tons of different shampoos, we have standardized on this ... it's that good. We use a tearless shampoo from iGroom around the eyes, and this everywhere else for virtually every dog. We follow up with an iGroom deshedding/dematting conditioner if the coat needs it ... but usually the MinkSheen is a one-and-done solution. Cleans very well, smells great and sticks with the dog for days, and leaves a really nice shine and texture to the coat. Excellent product.

We have had three Newfoundland over the year and this is the only shampoo we use. All have been therapy dogs so they must be groom frequently. Never have had any kind of skin issues with any of them. Wonderful scent, contains mink oil, eucalyptus and cedar oil so works as a natural insect repellent. The one gallon size lasts us over a year.

Our breeder recommended this shampoo when we got our first dog. We’ve been using it for over 8 years. My dog’s coat is always soft & shiny, I don’t need to use a detangler after bathing her and I think it smells great. She has never had a skin issue. It also naturally repels fleas.

We have been using the same shampoo for years on our Chow Chow dogs. It smells great and also drives away or repel inserts from our pets. It makes the furs soft and manageable - easy to brush.

This shampoo is awesome. My dogs are Lhasa Apsos with majority of their coat is white. I diluted the shampoo to 8 parts water to 1 part shampoo. The shampoo lathered really well and shampoo spread with ease. Their coats came out very white and bright. The decision not to use a conditioner following Minksheen was to see how well this shampoo works with the promise it conditions too. Using a conditioner really adds time to drying dog coats. I was very happy to see their coats are conditioned fabulously with Minksheen than my previous brand even using their conditioner. Their coats have a healthy looking gloss and shine. They are soft and their coats feel so luxurious now. The couple of tangles and small mats that I didn't catch before washing the dogs, slipped out with ease. Our yard has a lot of burs since we live out in the country. The burs are pretty close to non-existent sticking to their fur. With my previous shampoo, I had to rely on using detangling spray or serum to keep the burs out of their fur. So this is a big savings for me because these products are expensive.

I was a breeder, and this is the only shampoo I ever used and now I use it on my own pets! It makes their coats so soft and the smell is amazing!
