It is weighted and heats up quickly. The buttons are simple and intuitive to use. I found the highest heat setting to be comfortable until recently it felt way too hot! I’m wondering if it’s malfunctioning and getting hotter than it should or I just got more sensitive to the heat? Not sure. I like that it has a timer for how long to keep on. That way if I accidentally fall asleep with it I know it will turn off on its own. I find it also works nicely for my back.
