Great prep book
Appears to be a great book for study prep med surg certification. Great Explanations for wrong and right answers on practice test. It would be nice if the page number in the study prep book was included in explanations of answers to refer back too.

Great Resource
The study guide is great. It provides an overview of the diseases and treatments for all the systems. This is very helpful. The test questions and the rationales are great and sharpen critical thinking.

This cuts right to the chase, is easy to review, and very helpful. I feel like I'm prepared for the test also I'm going to keep this book in my locker at work. Very good reference

Maybe too comprehensive
I used this book to study for the exam along with study material my hospital provided. This book had comprehensive information to read regarding medical conditions which was thorough and mostly helpful. I thought the questions were a lot harder than what was actually on the exam (which can sometimes make you feel more prepared), but there were also quite a few questions on OB, newborns, the nursing process, and types of leadership and none of these topics were on the exam I just took. There were also a couple questions on the practice exams that did not match up with the answers in the back which means you don’t really know if you got it right or not.
