Before ordering, I was worried that the Eyecurl II wouldn't really curl my lashes and I would burn my eyelids, but the price was so reasonable that I figured if I didn't like it I wouldn't miss the money. So let me just say THIS THING IS AWESOME and here's what I love about it:1. It heats up super fast - like in 10 to 15 seconds.2. You won't burn yourself - it has a guard around the heating element that keeps it away from your skin. And the way you curl your lashes makes it unlikely that you'd burn yourself anyway.3. It heats up fairly quickly, and when using it feels comfortable against my eyelid.I first curl using a regular eyelash curler, then apply mascara. After that I use this eyecurl. It especially helped me get the outer lashes out of my eye, I always have trouble getting those to curl and they stick in my eye. It does require some hand twisting to curl the lash toward eyelid, but it's fairly simple.It's not the best curler and it does take longer than I like, plus it doesn't work well on its own.
