HLRP is more true to the scent of lilacs even as it dries down. This perfume starts as lilac, but dries down to an indescribable powdery scent, finishing as a chemical odor. **Q: Will this give me the "I just walked out of a bakery" vanilla scent? I don't want the artificial/alcohol scent.** A: Not quite, but almost. This is almost a vanilla extract dupe, without the alcohol "tang". I am a vanilla "fiend", and the only problem I have with this is that it doesn't last long. That being said, I use it with vanilla scented lotion and find that it is great for layering with other scents. Oomphs up a scent without being too cloying.
