Easy use, smooth cast and reel in. Lightweight. Can change to right or left. Doesn’t snag up.

For the money you cant get a better reel; decent drag, smooth internals, over all the bang/buck ratio is there

great product for price. purchased several. Reel has great drag, turns easily, and lays line well. Bought several 1500 and 1000 size reel for myself and friends. I have spinning reels that cost $199 each, They may be smoother but you can buy 10 of the Daiwa 1500 for the same price. Highly recommended except for the few who like me fish 50 to 100 days per year and fish with passion.
