Easy modification made it perfect.
Fit my Steiner binoculars well, but threads were a touch too long and would continue to loosen up. Had a package of old rubber washers that fit the bill. Drilled out the center to fit the stud and trimmed the outside down to size. Works great! No more loosening up on its own and saved a ton of money over a named brand unit. Solid as a rock! I highly recommend this quick attach mount system for your optics. Canโt wait to use this setup on my upcoming Montana Elk hunt.

Best of the cheap tripod mounts for binoculars.
I'm glad I bought this as a backup for the more expensive Bushnell mount. It fit well and served its purpose. The design of these quick release mounts on most of these is just not going to give you a solid connection to the tripod but if you can live with a bit of wobble you can save a bunch of money. The leverage of the binoculars is just too great for the little screw to hold it from teetering sideways if there is much pressure. It will hold still when you are careful. Some sellers don't sell the studs separately in case you have another set of binoculars, you have to buy another complete unit. This package includes an an extra stud. The quality of the mount is good. There is a deep enough screw slot on the end of the stud to get it tight. Iwould recommend this for a budget mount or a backup. Having this is way better than trying to hold the phone up to the binoculars by hand!

Budget bino adapter
Functions well but definitely a budget feeling product. The tolerances arenโt of that of a higher quality product. Itโs easy to use, fits in your pocket and has a clean black finish. Great little budget option.

Very good mount adapter
A few items on this really solid product. 1. All metal construction which makes it rigid to hold my 15x70 binocs very steady 2. Comes with two quick connect adapters - 1 with a rubber washer glued to it to help hold steady like lock washer to binocs; another with a small set screw to keep it from coming loose. NOTE: in my experience the rubber washer is worthless as it is too soft and tore up easily. Recommend just removing it and perhaps replace with a lock wash, or use blue loctite. This is only negative I have. 3. Some reviews have mentioned binocs pivot on quick release. Some have found to be a plus, others a negative. Binocs do indeed pivot but it has not been an issue for me.

At this price it can't be beat, but with a caveat
I picked this up for around $17 and, for the price, it can't be beat. For reference I also own an outdoorsman mount, which this copies to a certain degree. The fit and finish and general operation isn't at the same level as the outdoorsman mount, but for the price difference it's hard to argue against picking this up. It's plenty sturdy and fairly lightweight. It doesn't hold the optics in place as securely when the screw isn't tightened down but as long as you take a little care during that step, they are plenty secure once mounted. I added a small arca plate I had laying around to the bottom so I can quickly mount it to any of my tripod heads. My one caveat is that if you have a narrow interpupillary distance or large barreled binoculars it may be a problem. My binocular barrels hit the center post of the mount, preventing them from going to their narrowest distance. For most people it won't be an issue, but if you fall into the narrow face or large binocular category this may not be the best option for you. Otherwise, it's a fantastic value. I wanted a backup mount as my son is getting older and will be going on his first deer hunt this year. It will be nice for him to be able to use my old tripod and binoculars with this mount so I don't have to give up my setup for glassing sessions.

Sweet
Slick mount for binos. I really like the fact the mounting screw can stay with the binos and with a couple of quick twists it can be back on your tripod.

SO-SO STABILITY
I finally opened this up to attached to my Celestron 7x42 binoculars purchased through Amazon a few years back. It made the connection between my binoculars and my Nikon camera tripod to view a comet (Taushenchien-ATLAS) that will not be visible for another 80,000 years. I found this connector to be lacking in dependable stability. It just wouldn't tighten down strong enough that it would allow the binoculars to shift on the axis if the connector if even slightly bumped. Once I figur we d out its quirks, I adjusted my behavior to meet the needs of the product. This is just plain wrong. Nevertheless I saw this beautiful comet and its glowing tail for seven glorious nights - three more to go. I watched "ATLAS" shift her position every night and fade into darkness at the end of 40-minutes each night. I think I will replace the binoculars with a higher powered monocular. Amazon has some good deals going on right now and hopefully they will come with their own connector to a tripod.

Decent mount for the price, but could be better!
I like the stalk a lot, but the posts that go into it are made of very cheap aluminum, not even steel! Makes the unit a bit "unfinished" in a way - it is a decent mount, but I did find it to clock in a bit lower than level when clamped. For a budget roof binocular mount, adequate - sturdy and easy to use. But with a bit more "finish", this could have been a superb mount.

Cheap but strong
Itโs cheap but strong relative other branded adaptors. easy to screw, mount and dismount. I think it will last a long time.

Vortex Diamondback
After reading other reviews I was concerned I might have to alter the product but this device fits my Vortex binoculars perfectly and I use them with minimal ocular spread.
