I saw them at Nordstrom for a lot more, and decided to try Amazon. I was very happy with the price. These are more of a suede than a leather, so I will have to put some protector on them. I got the 8, and my heel is on the edge but my toes don't come up to the thong piece fully. So there is a little bit of sliding but I put the strap on the tightest and it works. I like the security of a back strap that you know is going to stay on. They are very comfortable, and did not give me any blisters or have a "break in" period like some shoes. I wore them right out of the box for a day of travel and did not have any sore spots. The only two negatives I will say is these are very hard to get on and off. Pretty much impossible to leave them buckled and try to slip them on, which I like to do because I'm lazy! :) Maybe they will give over time and be more flexible. Because the material is suede, the strap does not "glide" easily into the buckle so my husband has had to help me get the little strap through the loop and put the metal holder thing in. The other negative is there is very little arch support and the sole is hard. I have high arches and tend to over pronate, so these do not give the support I need for a lot of walking, but for a night out to dinner or even all day traveling at the airport they were fine. They are really cute and I wasn't expecting them to be walking shoes, so I am very happy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun Leopard Print Sandal *by M***R on September 7, 2018* Nice sandal with just the right amount of leopard print to add a little extra to your outfit. Sandals fit true to size and are comfortable to wear. The leopard print is nice and not over the top. I love the gold clasp detail. I have been wearing these all summer and get compliments on them all the time. Nice quality and have held up well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Go To Sandals! *by A***R on October 14, 2019* Love these sandals - I have purchased several pairs in different colors, I wear this style more than all other shoes and sandals combined as long as the weather holds out! These sandals slip on easily, are comfortable right out of the box, and they look great with almost anything you’ll wear in sandal season (shorts, dresses, jeans - everything except formal). I am concerned that Sam Edelman is discontinuing this style, hence the reason I purchased several more at great prices.
