I have all three of these crimpers and I recommend that plan. I can always find a fit in one of the tools and the quality is good enough that I have gotten to the point that I almost never mess up crimps anymore. I have not done any of the tiny 1mm JST crimps but everything else has worked well. I just keep all of them in the same place and I can always find the best fit. With the right size you wont damage the pin (especially the retention barbs) As long as I don't lose these I will probably never have to buy another crimper in my life time. Well worth the price and I heard enough recommendations from the 3d printing community that I was confident that I was making a good purchase. And they were right. I also recommend a lighted desk magnifier since you don't appreciate how hard crimping can be on the eyes without one. If you have to crimp something (avoid it if you can) these are just right.

I don't normally write reviews and even more infrequently do I upload videos for products, but these crimpers are awesome. I purchased SN-01BM and I'll tell you the quality is superb, the materials are top quality, the machining of the jaws is first rate, the ratcheting mechanism is well build and feels very solid. My first JST connection to 24 awg wire crimped perfectly and was done in seconds. I had to pinch the 2 tabs on the JST connector together slightly to fit it in the jaws and then I was able to squeeze the handle until the ratcheting mechanism engaged and held the connector firmly. I was then able to insert the 1/8" stripped wire and squeezed until the ratchet released and the connector was perfectly formed. Wonderful product!

I tried crimping some JST-XH connectors without this tool and made a mess of it. I had previous experience with the Dupont version of this tool, so I decided to buy this one. Wow, what a difference having the right tool for the job makes, perfect crimps. If you don't know how to use the crimper, there are some great youtube videos that explain it and will make your job go so much smoother.

For the money I am absolutely wowed by this crimper. A real JST crimper is about $450, and if I was producing a product to sell using JST crimps I would probably go for it, but if an occasional repair is needed on these tiny little, highly specific, connections this tool has been great. It makes quality crimps with high pull our force. It wraps the long wire jacket strain relief pieces in to the correct shape. I've not had any issues with crimps made with this crimper. It does ratchet also so a crimp connector can be placed in to the die, then clicked a few times until the tool holds it in place, which frees a hand to grab the wire and place it in to the connector while your other hand squeezes the tool down. 2021 update: I'm still using this on a regular basis for prototyping wire harness and it just keep on going without issue.

I was pleasantly surprised to get a pair of quality crimpers. So many things from Amazon today seem to be knock-off fake junk from China. These are the real deal they performed as intended. When the crimps were inspected under magnification they looked great. These crimpers will be on my workbench for many years. Thank You for a quality tool at a good price.

As a electrical engineer I look for tools with good cost and good quality. This tool is easy to handle, comfortable grip, and stable. After a few tests it did its job ideally and no problems occur. Worth the price and quality is great and better than the average. Highly recommend to those who is looking for a good plier. I have order a few times from this company and say they are trust worthy in the tools they supply at a great price.

Since this was my first crimper, I don't have as much knowledge as other will have but rather have the experience when using this for the first time. The think that helped me the most was just watching a quick video on how to properly crimp my wire for a JST connector. After the 3rd try or so I was able to create a very nice crimp. Also, something I kind of experimented with for an upgrade I was doing to my 3D-Printer, is if you have 2 ground wires and want to save space, this crimper will fit 2 wires as long as you have a big enough connector pin, the only thing you'll have to do differently is to not squeeze the crimper all the way as you are just making sure that the wires are secured.

Attrezzo ben fatto e funzionale, robusto. Ormai sono più di 4 mesi che lo uso quotidianamente al lavoro e a confronto di quelli super costosi che già abbiamo la differenza è praticamente nulla. Bell’acquisto. Lo riprenderei un’altra volta.

Après plusieurs essais de divers outils de sertissage avec des résultats très moyen, cette pince est top pour les connecteurs Dupont et JST, a recommander sans problème.

This is the first crimp tool I've used where every crimp turned out perfect. Need I say more?

I needed a reliable crimper for small non-insulated connections and this IWISS tool is great and delivered by Amazon the next day through the letterbox. Previously I'd bought a cheaper generic SN-28B tool but even when using the correct connections the crimps I was making were failing and not formed correctly so I was wasting a lot of connectors. Buy cheap buy twice I guess. I've had IWISS tools in the past and initially missed this one when buying the SN-28B but gave it a go as the previous tool wasn't very good. Immediately the same set of non-insulated connectors I've been using are formed better on both the bit holding the cable insulation and the smaller part crimping the wire and most importantly aren't failing in the pull test or giving me random continuity problems. There's a bit too much wire in the cable in the pictures and I've also shown the size next to a pen - these are little so just a mm too long makes quite a difference! You also get some good instructions with these whereas a lot of crimpers you'll be left to your own devices to work it out (although they all have their own pitfalls, it just takes time to get used to each set). For me definitely worth paying that little extra over the generic crimpers if you value your time - these aren't as expensive as proper Molex crimps but still seem to do a more than good enough job. Crimpzange zum Austausch nicht mehr guter Crimpungen. Die Zange ist solide gebaut und liegt gut in der Hand - Wenn man berücksichtigt das man die Crimpschuhe richtig herum reinlegen muss, ist das Ergebnis auch gut. Eine Zangenbackenseite ist enger als die andere, was bei Fehlbenutzung dazu führt das das eingelegte Kabel abgeknickt/abgekniffen wird.
