This tool is vital for the style of RJ45 connector with a metal shield. I wish they would list the compatibility as I studied the connector ensuring the same design and it worked great with my specific Monoprice connector.

CON (honestly none, just buy it): -literally none, if you buy those jacks just buy this tool and get over yourself. It's cheap. Most tools for this kind of job cost $30-100. This costs like $5. Get over it and buy it, it helps a ton.

I used this to crimp shielded CAT6 RJ-45 terminals and it did the trick. Seems very sturdy and durable.

This tool makes crimping toolless keystone jacks easy. I used it with Cable Matters CAT 6A shielded keystone jacks (B00CLVAJCK), and some thick 7.4mm OD CAT 6A Riser Bulk Cable. Works perfectly!
