I've never written a review for anything on Amazon but I feel compelled to write something as I am so impressed by this purchase. If you haven't got time to read my full review then all I'll say is this... Buy it. It's MEGA! I am a huge racing fan (Everything from F1 to old bangers) and christmas of 2020 my older brother brought me a Logitech G29 for my playstation 5 and myself and many of my friends have taken great pleasure racing on that wheel (mainly playing the F1 games). After three years of wear and tear I decided I needed an upgrade and I wanted something slightly more 'professional' with the intention of maybe competing in some sim racing one day? So after months of research (and saving money) I purchased the SF1000, the T-GT II Servo base and the T-LCM loadcell pedal set. Yes it was expensive but compared to everything else on the market it's an absolute steal! It was relatively simple to set up and it fit perfectly with my existing play seat. A huge difference is learning what all the buttons do and which ones are X, triangle, circle and square which took a while to get used to. After getting comfortable I fired up F1 23 and got out onto the track at Silverstone which is a track I'm familiar with and pretty quick around. I was immediately blown away by the HUGE difference from my old wheel. The force feedback is immense. It's an arm workout in itself and gives you even more appreciation for the fitness levels of professional drivers. The display on the wheel is incredible and gives you so much information throughout the lap. You can feel every single bump of the circuit and have a far greater feel of the car not only through the resistance from the wheel but also through the pedals. I noticed immediately I had far more confidence in the car and could break later, turn more accurately and get on the throttle sooner which had an instant impact on my lap times. I've only spent a few hours racing since purchase but I can't wait to do some more. I would advise anyone wanting to do some serious immersive racing to purchase this setup. It's not for the faint hearted as it's a beast and it does take a while to get your head round all of the controls. It's put a huge smile on my face and I can't wait for my mates to have a go! Update the firmware on the wheel rim and your good to go. Value for money: Compared to other high end wheels it's still good value for money Responsiveness: Very responsive.

Very good repilca if you’re interested in buying formula one wheel if you’re on a low-mid range budget. if you have a console you do need a device with windows to do an update if you’re looking to have the telemetry display

Great wheel makes me feel like a boy again when I’m gripping it tight sliding through the bends. This wheel is a must have for men that want to feel like boys again. Grip hard but drive even harder the track is waiting for you.

The Thrustmaster Ferrari SF1000 Wheel Add-on is a fabulous piece of kit. Being a console user I cannot opt for the myriad of other sim equipment, but this is all I ever wanted. Beautifully presented and an extremely well built wheel. Looks fantastic with the real carbon fibre front and the milled metal gear paddles and dual clutches. Being able to use all the additional buttons and dials adds so much to games. My Assetto Corsa Competizione setup is now perfect and I don't need to change anything in the MFD. To date the only negative I have, and it is nothing to do with the wheel itself, is that more titles do not fully support it. GT7 for example only pushes minimal info to the wheel and does nothing to take advantage of the many dash layout options. If you don't mind, I need to go and do some more racing 😉

This wheel is fantastic probably more of a gimmick for your rig but totally usable for everything you need in game.. ok price is steep for a add-on but heck its a steal compared to top sim companies that'll be in the 1000s.... also great for GT racing to like ACC you can literally disable on screen hud and use this wheel.... Just note this wheel and wheel base will need updating to the latest firmware updates to work. Go for it, you know you want it!!!!!.

This wheel add on is very limited and far from ideal if you are using it on an xbox (to put it nicely). The main problem is the buttons and dials, despite there being plenty of them on the wheel itself, the xbox button mapping is seriously poor, half of them do nothing at all and the other half are in the daftest places. For example, the nice large red and yellow buttons are perfectly placed to use for DRS and overtake on f123 or 24, or for 2 other well used easily accessible buttons on other games right, nope, they are both exactly the same button, (A, or green) why would you ever need that???. Both of the smaller buttons below them are (Y, or yellow) buttons (again, why would you need that) and the other 4 available buttons you get out of all those on the wheel (which are X or blue, B or red, pause and source) are spread randomly across the wheel where they are lost in the maze of buttons and dials that do absolutely nothing at all, so you can never find them in time to press them when needed. They can not be re-mapped either on the wheel itself or in games. There's only 1 directional button, the other ones are just copies of the same one, so there's no moving up and down in the menus AND being able to look back or to the right or left when overtaking, there's no R2, or L2, or R3, or L3, the 2 extra flappy paddles below the gears are worse then pointless, they can either be mapped as the accelerator, Brake, or both of them as the clutch? (which are all pedals and so pointless options) or you can map the right side one as an extra button, they call it the 'handbrake', but it can be mapped in game as an extra button. For all the buttons on this wheel you actually get A lot more options on A standard controller or A cheap £50 wheel. (for xbox one or series x). Also, if your on xbox, the on board screen does not really work for anything useful. It will only (supposedly) work by Wi-Fi Pairing & UDP configuration (unlike on ps and pc where it is used in 'native mode' and just works straight away.) I tried several times to connect it using UDP mode and failed every time so I just gave up trying and left it turned off. When I asked thrustmaster about the button mapping and screen modes on xbox they told me that is all that an xbox is capable of doing and suggested I moved on to PC or PS (which is great advice when the wheel base I have only works on an xbox or PC.). I think it should be clearly marked on the add on that it has very limited capabilities on xbox. Rather then people having to unbox it, build it and try to use it to find out its completely useless. I did have A problem with the gear paddles always missing gears or double pumping, many people complain about this but I found the problem (on mine at least) to be that I hadn't installed them correctly, following the instructions exactly and putting the screws in the right order and making sure they are all tight. Since I took them off and re-installed them in this way they have worked fine. I had given this add on an even worse review of 1 star rating before but since then I have managed to 'bodge' the button mapping on my f1 24 game to make the wheel kind of useable, although it is with only the very minimum buttons needed to use it and its still confusing me after 6 weeks of trying to get used to the layout but, once I got it working it is quite A nice feeling wheel, apart from the gear paddles being so noisy. For PS or PC it might be A decent add on wheel but, as an xbox user, this wheel is truly awful, I definitely would not recommend it. I am planning on moving to PC this later this year so I'm hopeful it will be better on there and for that I have given it A second star. Although as an xbox add on it is lower then A 1 star rating.

Verarbeitung, Materialien und Details wirken absolut hochwertig und sehr nah am echten Formel-1-Lenkrad. Das Replika-Design ist beeindruckend: Display, Drehregler und Schalter fühlen sich präzise an und machen das Fahren noch immersiver. Am PC sowie an Konsole funktioniert alles zuverlässig und ohne Probleme. Mein Sohn ist absolut begeistert und möchte das Lenkrad am liebsten gar nicht mehr aus der Hand legen – für ihn (und ehrlich gesagt auch für mich) ein echtes Highlight im Simracing-Setup. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Wert auf Qualität, Realismus und echtes Rennfeeling legen.

It’s so much fun to play with this. It feels like a real F1 steering with so much more control over the game. And it’s overall better experience to play with this rather than a round steering, more control and realistic feel. In case you’re wondering, I’m using this with my Thrustmaster T300.

I’ve had this rim for about a year and a half now. Absolutely love it. Surprisingly light weight and the grips feel solid. I use sim racing gloves from Moradness.Com and am able to feel all the buttons and turn all the knobs and dials easily. That’s right, they’re not just for show like the previous Ferrari wheel. Great for immersion and the data you get is valuable and very accurate. I have had a minor issue with the wheel losing connectivity with my F1 23 game from time to time but I have it far more often than I don’t. Definitely make this purchase if you can.
