can this be used under eyes or does this brand also carry an undereye cream?

Avene has a separate eye cream (there are several options). The Hydrance Rich is a bit heavy for under eye.

Is this the cream that come in a foil type tube and must be pierced using the cap? That is the cream I am looking for.

The cream comes in a plastic tube. IT is not pierced with the cap. But it is a very rich hydrating cream. My skin seems to just drink it in. It feels great.
