I would put the watch on my night stand under a table lamp for up to 1 hr before bed. The the watch would stay bright but when I would look at it 4 hrs or 5 hours later it was not so bright. By morning with the lights out I could hardly tell the time. In the end after 1 year of use I have migrated to a different watch. However this is a terrific daily use watch...except if you need to see it clearly at night. **Q: Does anyone know if the clasp is titanium as well? I'm nickel sensitive to stainless.** A: The watch itself is titanium. However, the buckle on the band appears to be stainless. My husband really likes the watch and has been pleased. He has purchased a couple of different bands so he can change the look. **Q: Is this the 200m version that one of the reviewers mentioned below?** A: Mine says 200m. **Q: The specs states this watch is rated 200m. The pic shows 100m on the face. Which is it?** A: Mine says 200M. Even if it was 100M though, that's more than enough WR for a field watch. I have had mine for over six months now, and it's great. If there is one minor gripe I have with it, it's the strap. It's big and chunky which in my opinion negates the benefit of the titanium case. I gave the factory strap away and put on a very thin and light elastic watch band.
