Review: Very noticeable improvement in sound. - I upgraded the door speakers in my 2001 Saab 9-3 and they sounded okay but they did not sound as well as I thought they should. I did a bit of research and decided to try the fast rings. I used the inner circle behind the speaker and the outer foam ring trimmed down to about 3/4". The middle ring would not fit very well due to the mounting bracket for the speaker so I left it off. After doing the work today all I can say is that I am more than pleased with the accentuated bass the speakers now put out. It is not going to rattle the windows of the car next to me but the sound improvement is 200%. I will be keeping an eye on the inner circle to make sure it does not get wet and start smelling as I saw some reviewers were concerned about. Bottom line is this was a winner and well worth it. Review: A must have for your Install shortlist. - These are the quickest, and simplest, and I think I'm right in saying cheapest solution for enhancing midbass. I think you could get away with this, and a minor amount of deadening, and have almost professional results. Gear:: Apline PDX-F6 on 4x Audison Voce K6.5 in the doors of a Chevy Cruze. Doors are fully dampened with Second Skin Damplifier Pro, door skins are also heavily deadened. Phenomenal Midbass. I think these should be on your short list for installing door speakers. They build an open enclosure around the speaker and isolate them from the door cavity, allowing the mid bass to punch through the door and into the cabin. I've seen these cheap foam rings in some of the highest dollar installs, that aren't using custom kicks.

It's like a concert hall in here...
Absolutely amazing improvement. I'm never installing speakers in a car without these ever again! Very worth it. My truck now sounds like a concert hall, I can hear musicians taking a breath before they play a note!

Great product, a tad expensive.
These rings work great and make installation easy. The stock speakers in my Camaro had a foam seal that butts up against the door panel, so I wanted to duplicate that when I installed a new set of JBL's. The price is a tad spendy, but they worked out great, speakers sound fantastic.

Easy install for better sound
I installed these on a sedan. Before installing the sound was of a tin can and you could easily hear the music through the door outside of the car with the windows up. Traditional speaker housings will not fit due to the movement of the window up and down. This foam kit allows you to fasten a piece directly to the door allowing the window to pass between the foam and speaker when in the down position. Sound is now better with the foam installed weather the windows are in the up or the down position. I recommend installing these

I love these.. A must have for stereo install!
I saw these on a YouTube video and decided to give them a try on my friends new stereo installed. I love these. They pressed up against the door panel very tightly and directed sound into the cab of the car well. I was only able to use the outer rings, but they fit perfectly around the 6.5 inch speakers and I will definitely use these on every other car install I do..

Nice product!
Great product! The foam that sticks to your door helps with rattling in the doors. I have an 08 Civic LX coupe and the doors are so thin and rattles when bass is too much. After I installed this, it fixed that problem. It hardly rattles unless I put Loudness up on my Pioneer head unit.

They make a difference... simple as that!
I've installed these in the doors of my 04 GMC 2500HD single cab, a long with new, rather cheap 6.5" components. Added a tad more sound deadening to the doors and these rings make just about as much thump as the little 8" woofer I have behind the seat! Highly recommend them, as if they can make cheap speakers sound good, I can only imagine what they will do for an actual good system!
