With handles, the diameter is about 15.5 inches. **Q: Can this be used on an induction cooktop? I am remodeling and at the present time this is all I have to cook on. My regular cookware doesn't work.** A: This cast Iron Pan is magnetic and it should work on an Induction cooktop. But I am not really sure that it works properly. **Q: Can I use it under the broiler?** A: I don't know I have never tried. I strictly have used it outside on the grill when making the onions & shrimp for fajitas. This is a heavy cast iron pan. I would think you could use it anywhere.
