How many Aux's per channel for monitor mixes does it have?

The UI16 has 4 XLR Aux outputs, if you enable the 2 headphone outputs to be Aux outputs, that adds 2 additional 1/4" Aux outputs to the mixer. You can very easily see that the headphone outputs are enabled as Aux channels by looking at the Aux Sends menu. The Aux channels go from 1-4 Aux Outputs to 1-6 Aux Outputs when enabled within Settings.One tip...  Do remember that the Headphone outputs have a physical rotary knob that controls headphone output volume. This knob also controls output volume while the outputs are enabled as Aux sends. For example.. If everything is showing as a a signal is supposed to be going to either Aux 5 and/or Aux 6.. but nothing is coming out of a speaker,/monitor.  Check to make sure that knob is turned up...

Can you record all 12 inputs separately via usb into you daw

I don't think so.  If you can, the manual certainly says nothing about it.You can record the entire mix onto a USB stick.

Ok.  from reading, it would appear this has 4 auxiliary "outputs", but, how many auxiliary buses does this have and are they pre or post fader?

UI16 is a 16:2 mixer, with gain, EQ, de-esser, noise-gates and compression available on each input. 2 channels  (1 & 2) perform Digitek guitar amplifier emulation. It has 4 selectable pre/post fader Aux sends , and in-device effects for echo, reverb, chorus. All  outputs  have 31 band graphic on outputs with real-time analyser, DBX compressor & feedback supressor built-in.  The mixer is controlled via HTML5 (or later) browser via wifi or cabled internet. iPad and iPad Pro are perfect control devices, though android is also usable (though I have problems with the mute/phantom-select buttons when using a Lenovo tablet - presumably to do with the version of google chrome  partially implementing html5) . What is the latest review on Wi-Fi connectivity and noise for this unit?

The Wi-Fi connectivity is excellent and have even moved as far away as 10 meters with my iPad that I use with the app to control my Soundcraft. You can extend the Wi-Fi range by connecting another router or range extender if required.
What noise? There is none.......
