The ball joint is very long, and no combination of adapters would fit. The press (C-clamp) is not large enough, the cups are all too long, or a combination of both. I am unfortunately returning this kit and the adapter set. **Q: Will this work on the dana 30 on a jeep xj cherokee? does it have an appropriate angled piece to fit dana axles?** A: I used it for a dana 30 on a ZJ, same type axle. Cant remember if it was top or bottom ball joint, but I had to use a large washer under one side of the cup to get the tool level. The tool worked like a CHAMP, did all four ball joints on my ZJ, was very easy to use once you figure out which cups to use.
