Gorgeous!
Exactly what I was looking for- high quality, beautiful aesthetic, and noise reduction. After thorough search on Amazon I went with this panel instead of less $ version- based on reviews, size, color and noise reduction. The panel is not soundproof but rather it dampens the noise that was coming in my front door from neighboring apartments and noise in common hallway. I’m very happy with the results! Used a heavy duty tension rod to hang (make sure you check the weight capacity of rods). Definitely recommend and hope they release more colors in the future. UPDATE: 05/14/2024 The tag on curtain says "dry clean". I took the curtain to a dry cleaner and they were not able to clean it because they said the materials could melt. The curtain was dirty so I decided I had no choice but to machine wash in cold water and delicate cycle (I used an triple load machine). Fortunately, the curtain came out clean but very wrinkled. I let it hang dry and tried to iron it but after a few minutes I realized it was a fruitless effort. If I had a steamer that might work well. Regardless, I still love the curtain and glad I was able to wash it.

Top notch product and company
Excellent, well made product. When there was a shipping problem the vendor jumped in immediately and took care of the situation. Not only beautiful curtains, but also a pleasant, reliable company to work with.

Very thick curtain.
It is a thick curtain which you can thread through a tension rod the size of a shower curtain rod. Would have liked it to be thicker / more effective at sound deadening. I used it with another sound blanket. Together they are adequate but not great. Better than nothing.

Great curtain
Beautiful and high quality curtains that go a long way for blocking out light and noise.

Helped a little but probably unique to your situation
We moved to a new apartment and unknown to us were that it is close to railroad tracks. So we get those lovely train horns required by Federal law to sound the horn when they approach a road crossing. It helps save lives so I get it, it's good to do. I did extensive research and options to deal with blocking sound coming through windows. Options range from a couple hundred such as this to, a thousand for transparent inserts, to several thousands to replacing windows. We rent so it made no sense to spend anything we can't take with us so we settled on the curtains. Do these relatively inexpensive curtains work a miracle and block all sounds? I wish. Do they help slightly? Definitely yes. I think given how our windows are, the curtains couldn't cover the whole window and more sound than not goes through the uncovered parts. There is a reduction of sound where the curtain does cover so it really does work. We could spend a little bit more money buying a few things to cover some of the uncovered areas but we decided to just leave it as-is. So do I recommend this? Yes. It really does reduce sound. As a whole given our window configuration, it was a small improvement and we were happy with that. it's better than nothing and we didn't have to spend a ton of time and money on the rental apartment we live in. We can take these curtains with us and use them else where in the future. If you are in a similar situation, these are probably your best bet. I think depending on your window/curtain setup, it could reduce more sound than what we experienced because we had a gap we didn't cover.

very nice and well made
these are high quality curtains. very well made and the velvet outer layer is both tasteful and functional. i think these will be long lasting and nicely aesthetic curtains because of the construction quality. highly recommend.

Looks nice, feels better!😉
I am using in a music studio to reduce reverberations between a wall and glass window. I just received a curtain rod so I am yet to install and will update after I do.

limited noise reduction
We bought two curtains and hung them on one 4' rod across a corridor to try to dampen a noisy washing machine. There are nice serpentine folds that I was hoping would mitigate sound of the washing machine. They are very nice looking, but provide only minimal sound deadening, much less effective than I was hoping for. Not worth the cost.
