Until now that is! Photos and videos taken with the Digital Harinezumi ("Hedgehog") Guru are like a glimpse into a strange alternative reality, which I suppose it is.Although it can capture video with sound at 30 fps, I particularly enjoy silent mode @ 8 fps.Officially, the only focus settings available are a 3 cm macro mode and 1 m - infinity for all else. But in fact you can also focus between 3 cm to 1m by holding the focus slider in-between those two stops with your thumb, and with a bit of practice, this works pretty good. Want to have more fun? Try photographing landscapes or interiors with the focus set at 3 cm; the results may surprise you.Update Sept 23, 2013:Still enjoying it!Tips:Eats batteries fairly quickly: I bought a Pearstone-brand charger bundled with a couple of rechargeable lithium cells, and it's paid for itself long ago.Camera normally resets file numbering back to PICT0000.jpg when you erase the memory card, but you can control this by always leaving your last photo on the card (or a random file with the same name). If, for example, your last photo was PICT0100.jpg, as long as you leave that file on the card, the camera will number all subsequent photos as PICT0101.jpg, PICT0102.jpg and so forth.
