Those of you who like this grater, how do you get the sticky label off?

Goop Off or Goo B Gone gets off sticky labels from everything! This is not the only product that has really difficult labels to remove!

Really considering it but repeated complaints about the sticker issue gives me pause. Is that how it's currently packaged? Did this happen to everyone

I did not have any trouble removing the sticker. If anything should give you pause, it is the fact that the grater is quite sharp. I recommend cut-resistant gloves.

Is this good for food like carrots, zucchini and cheddar cheese? Or would the extra course version be better?

this microplane is too fine for that. I would recommend a regular sized grater for carrots and zucchini. cheddar is ok for the extra course version if it's between the fine and regular.
