Wonderful product, works very well
I bought this product and use it on my blue stone and full range flag stone a month ago, the result turn out very good. It is a little bit expensive, but it is well worth it. It was not too difficult to apply, I used two coats on my stone, on the first coat, the stone absorbed well deep into the stone, then the second coat 30 minutes after that would take less sealer than the first coat. It was paid-off after the first rain that we have, the water ran off from the walkway (depend on your slope) and standing water on the surface could not penetrated into the stone. It was like water standing on the glass surface. My wife have tested this product along with many other competitor on our spare stone, and this is the best that we selected. After apply different sealer on the same kind of stone, she tried to stain them with many different kind of stains, including oil. Many sealers do what it suppose to do, but "BulletProof" stand-out from its peers. The best feature of this product that we really like, is it did not change the look of the stone, and it did not make the stone shiny. Again, like any sealer manufacture recommend, always test them on your left-over stone before apply them to your walkway and follow the instruction.

Stopped water absorption in our new shower walls...
This is easy to apply...you basically sponge it on, keep it wet for fifteen minutes to replenish what gets absorbed and then wipe the surface dry. We recently rebuilt our shower, using 3"x12" marble tiles. Unlike the samples in the store display, a large percentage of the tiles had porous areas which soaked up water...exactly what you don't want in a shower. After applying two coats of DuPont's Bullet-Proof sealer, the tiles no longer were darkening when wet. This stuff is not a pore filler, at least on a macroscopic level, but does an effective job preventing water molecules from diffusing into the marble itself. The top half of the marble tile in the photo was treated; the bottom half was left natural. They're identical in color when dry, but (as you can see) the untreated portion became much darker when wet. Note - no sealer will protect marble from etching if exposed to acids. Be careful with cleaners and test in an inconspicuous location if you have any doubts about compatibility. Lime-Away, C-L-R and similar cleaners are especially deadly to marble! Highly recommended!

Easy to apply....left with a deep shine.
This stuff is wonderful. I put off sealing my granite counters for the longest time because it seemed a little intimidating. But fear not, it's not hard at all. I watched a few videos online and decided I was ready. I'm ashamed for putting it off as long as I did. The application is easy...took me about 30 minutes to clean (used denatured alcohol) and about an hour to apply to all my counters (about 75 sq ft). After cleaning and let dry, I used a paintbrush to apply. After letting soak in for about 15 minutes (keeping the surface wet), I wiped off with paper towels and buffed it with a lint free cloth. It left my counters looking brand-new with a certain deep shine to them that I don't remember seeing before. I would definitely recommend and I'll be doing this job a lot more frequently now that I know how easy and successful it is.

Working great on very light colored granite
My new light granite was staining and etching after being sealed with another product. It is performing very well after application of Bullet Proof. Liquids are beading up and not sinking in. No etching after three weeks. It was not easy to put two applications on a large surface area. Do small areas at a time. I now feel I can live with my granite with out constant worry. Thrilled ad relieved.

Great grout sealer
We just got our living room and dining room carpet replaced with ceramic tile, and the company that did the work didn't have the option to seal the grout. So I had to start with no knowledge and decide what to use. I found an independent website, NATCO- North American Tile Cleaning Association, that had tested and rated grout sealers. StoneTech BulletProof was the 2nd highest rated sealer they tested. I decided on it because of this: "The Stonetech Bulletproof performed almost as well as our top rated sealer the Aquamix Sealers Choice gold and the Stonetech Bulletproof has a lot less VOC's [Volatile organic compounds] than the top rated Aquamix grout sealer." As the site pointed out, Stonetech is actually a tile sealer for porous type tiles, but works great as a grout sealer. The test was cool. I did a small area, let it dry for a couple of hours, did a second coat and waited a couple more hours. I then took some water and poured it on the unsealed grout and watched it soak in immediately. On the treated grout, the water beaded beautifully like I had applied it to a piece of plastic!

This is the best sealer I have used.
I've used several types and brands of stone sealer and this one seems to work the best. I applied two coats to a Travertine floor and noticed that most of the floor beaded up on the second application. Be sure to remove ALL traces of grout before you apply this product and be sure to wipe it off before it dries. If you do not, the finish on the stone will be inconsistent (.i.e. it will look like there are water spots). This application was on a bathroom floor and the product does not make th efloor slippery. I spent a few dollars extra for this product because it got good reviews and....lets face it, who wants to seal floors multiple times? Recommended.

NOT practical for large projects
I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the product since only time will determine that. However, the difficulty of using the product was so extreme as to make anything else irrelevant. If the product is used on a tabletop or countertop it might work ok - a bit tricky and irritating but acceptable. My use was on a 400 SF outside sandstone/flagstone patio. Instructions say to keep the entire surface wet: never let it dry out - for 10-15 minutes, then wipe dry. With a large, porous surface this is impossible, especially when itโs time to wipe the first part off while Iโm still not finished with the initial application. So, I decided to do this in sections, but THIS approach becomes very complicated because the SECOND coating (which the Laticrete rep told me was essential) must be factored in since it has to happen 30 minutes after the initial application. So, trying to keep the 10-15 minutes setting time AND the 30 minute window for the 2nd coat straight for multiple sections is , well, impossible. I might add that all this was further complicated by directions that in one place say the second coat must be applied WITHIN 30 minutes of initial application while in another place the time is AFTER 30 minutes. Another inconsistency between the label instructions and what I was told my the rep was that application could be made on damp stone after surface water was removed vs. stone must be totally dry. AMAZON has been kind enough to refund my entire purchase price for 2 gallons of this product, so all Iโm out are some application tools and most of a day of my time. I do fault the company for offering a product that is only suitable for use in small areas, but implying otherwise. I had 2 conversations with the vendor, telling them each time exactly how I planned to use the product and never had any suggestion that this might be a problem.

Can come frozen
Great product but came frozen. Apparently it happens in winter, be careful ordering in negative temperatures. I used it anyway to seal marble mosaics. It worked.
