Mega Construx Destiny Sparrow S-10V Building Kit

Fantastic set, the attention to detail is great and the sparrow design is nice. The fallen captain and the warlock both look amazing, the shank looks great too, if a little big. The warlocks hand cannon has a hole for the peg system megabloks uses as well. Overall a great set. Bit pricey and you might want to wait for the official release sometime in the fall. Of course if you can't wait grab it right away before it probably sells out again.

Awesome set in all aspects! The Sparrow looks really sleek and is fun to mess around with. This is my favorite Destiny Warlock that comes with it because of the Duster! Also, the Fallen is really an awesomely detailed fig!

Coming from an avid Destiny diehard, Mega Bloks does Destiny a lot of justice, even if it's only in miniature form (C'mon McFarlane!! Treat Destiny like you did with Halo!!). The overall build quality is fantastic and true to it's digital counterparts. Both minifgs are so cute!! If I were to nitpick one thing, its that the bottom piece of the Sparrow wiggles left and right a bit instead of staying straight (It's a peg that holds the bottom front feet of the Sparrow). But in all honesty, that's just splitting miniscule hairs. Another great detail is that the Manual is tried and true to the in-game menus, showcasing weapon perks and building instructions just as if you accessed them by pressing start. On a side note, I'd highly advise to wait for these to be back in stock as scalpers are bloating prices of these to ridiculous levels. I'd pay upwards of 30.00, but anything above that pricepoint is kinda ridiculous. But if you're that passionate, then go for it. I'm glad to showcase these on my shelf next to Halo!!

I did NOT expect the minifigure to be as excellent and pose-able as it was. The Captain looks a bit goofy, but that's probably because the ones in the game are fairly goofy-looking. Overall I'm impressed with the pieces; they've come a long way from the last Mega Bloks I had ten years ago. My only real gripe was that one piece had a very large, visible serial number and CHINA written on it. With the right positioning the other pieces mostly covered it up, but it looks pretty terrible. My Guardian would not be flying around the Moon with a Sparrow that says Made in China on it!

I was able to purchase a few of these during an Amazon sale. They made for great toy donations! They looked like a lot of fun, and seemed to be well constructed.

This is awesome!! Incredible amount of detail on such small objects. I'm thoroughly impressed with this set and I look forward to getting more as they're released! ALSO!!!! DO NOT buy from any of the scalpers jacking up the price... mine was around $15...if it's any higher, pass.

My kids loved building it but both kits i bought were missing pieces. Would have gave it 5 stars had it had all the pieces.

This is an excellent building set, especially if you like Destiny. I can't really recommend this for children, as there are small pieces that could be dangerous. However, the set does seem to be very sturdy - no pieces feel flimsy, so I imagine it would withstand some rough play. There are a lot of special pieces in this set - some appear to have been 3D printed, and offer a different texture and look than the regular glossy pieces. The figures in this set look amazing. They also feel amazing. These are sturdy little figures, on par with modern Star Wars figures. They have good articulation for the size, and the paint on them is just about perfect. Both the Guardian and the Fallen Captain are absolutely spot-on. The Warlock gets a hand-cannon that is painted metallic blue, and looks remarkably accurate to the in-game version. The Shank, the Ghost and the Sparrow also look great but they are far simpler than the two figures. However, on a negative note, this is definitely not meant to be disassembled or played with too roughly. While it's sturdy and easy to construct, some pieces seem hard to disassemble without the use of pliers, so this appears to be more of a collectible than a toy. Furthermore, there were some nub-marks on some pieces, such as the Ghost, so the quality can still be worked on. These are however minor complaints, as everything else is fantastic. The set isn't huge - but it's still worth it. You get some very nicely painted figures at a scale that makes them easy to collect. You can set up a nice diorama without losing as much space as Lego sets would take up, thanks to the smaller scale of the Mega Bloks figures. And yet, you get more detail. 5 stars, don't let the price put you off. These building sets are absolutely fantastic.
