This worked perfectly in my old Compaq Presario v2000. It installed windows extremely quickly and boots up in seconds.

Reinvented my old Acer Ferrari 4005!! Boots quick and works great!! Never thought it would be any use again and now used exclusively to do car diagnostics and battery life is better than when brand new!! :-)

I installed this into a IBM T40 laptop from 2004/2005. PATA HDD was fine...just 23+ years old and only 30gb Bios detected the drive. Booted into Linux to transfer a HDD image over. Worked with no issues. Resized the partition of the image to the drive. Windows XP booted, checked the disk. No errors and full 60+gb capacity. Breathing some new life Into this system to use for some retro gaming and life Linux testing.

Ho comprato questo ssd ide pensando di sfruttare la velocità del disco ssd avendo comunque un attacco ide, in realtà nn è così cioè il disco funziona molto bene, ed è anche più veloce di un un disco meccanico, ma la velocità nn è neanche paragonabile ad un ssd con attacco sata. Ad ogni modo funziona molto bene consigliato.
