The probes/cable worked fine as far as finding a great spot for both and the temps readings respond very quickly and stabilize faster than other/thicker probes I've used. Problem is the insulating fiber just didn't hold up well at all. Granted I did have one of the probes in coffee being agitated so there was some friction and I did have a concern over this possibly being an issue, but didn't want to overthink it. Sure enough early on the fibers started to break down quite easily and then just fell apart. I can't really complain that much as maybe they're not intended for my use, but do feel that for the price point the build quality should be more robust.
