Don't waste your time or your money
Bought this cord to connect my laptop to my monitor, as my laptop does not have an HDMI port. The first one I got didn't work, so I requested a replacement. Somehow the second one didn't work either. I've double checked both ports, everything else worked completely fine. I got two defective cords. Will not be buying a third.

Great cable, but expensive.
Sad that after buying external monitor my new computer didn’t have a compatible plug in for cqble that come with monitor. Works great, but of course I wish it had come in the monitor box.
