Haier 5,050 BTU Window Air Conditioner - QHEC05AC

This is a really good air conditioner. It is used in my bedroom and it cools my bedroom really fast. For the most part it is quiet...I rated it a 5 star however I would give it a 4.9 only because it doesn't have a remote control

Keeps even a big room really cold and it's as easy to install as any window unit. Really happy with it.

Works well for the price point. It does seem a little loud when running but not terrible. Easy install.

The first being, that because it is pretty quiet, I can hear the lawn care guys in my front yard too clearly. and it sometimes gets too cold in my room. I bought this because my room is at the end of the line for the AC and my computer made the room too warm for me. Now I have a new problem in that I have to turn the knob control to a warmer setting or put on socks. I could not have asked for easier instillation, I paid someone else to install it for me.

This product shipped quick with no issues. Recommend 2 person installation. I’ve used this AC for a month now and it is cold and quiet with “simplicity”. I will buy again.

As the title states, I set it up properly angled in my window, and it worked properly twice, quickly cooling my room and keeping it cool.. until today where I can see from my thermostat that it is struggling to keep my room even remotely cool. Unfortunately this unit is total garbage.

Great little unit, however, beware, as there is no remote for this unit. It is advertised as having a remote on the phone app, but when checking the Amazon website, it states no remote.

I have now had this unit for a year. I live in Washington State, so I am only using it about a month out of the year. Fires up every time, cools an average size room fairly quickly, and I do not find it to be too loud.
