Hey hope u are well? Well I'm not 100% sure if is nickel free but I'm also allergic to nickel too and I'm not having any problem, They say that there are people who are allergic, it depends on the amount of nickel that the object contains I'm not sure I think the strap is stainless steel.

you don't need to cut the tail as it stays perfectly in place and doesn't get in the way I recommend the strap I'm sure you'll like it 😊
