It required three people to install the hinges onto the Plexiglas pieces and I broke one of these hinges attempting to get it hammered on. The good news is that once they are finally seated in place, they seem to be sturdy and they seem to do their job. I intend to keep my shield in place without moving it much so I do not expect the hinges to fail anytime soon. If you are planning on taking the shield up and down on a regular basis then I would suggest having more of the plastic hinges on hand as they will probably break over time if continually working them.
