"power source ac/dc", what is that? 120v ac, 220v ac, both, neither? 12v dc? 5v dc (usb)? which is it? cables, adapters? thank you.

This anion generator is suitable for 100-220V AC, no USB, plug - in power supply

Does it reduce dust in room?

No. I can't tell it's doing much. A good ion generator does gather in dust. You should also smell the ion from your generator. This product be best for maintenance in a small room. There are commercial type I bought for under $100 that kick the snot out of odors. Smoke, vermin smells too. It has a fan with a handle and timer.

What the footage area this device will cover? Do I need one per room or more?

Hello, this negative ion air purifier will circulate after it is powered on. Usually, the effective area is 20-30 square meters, and it is suggested that each room should have at least one

Does this ion make a soft noise or just have a green light

Almost no sound, just soft green light, releasing negative ions all the time, slowly purifying the air
