Well, for now, good price. I just needed new back door key lock knob. and kwikset is a familiar company. I have a Gatehouse knob on front door. I thought I'd give that "smartkey" thing a go, not sure if it'd work or not to rekey the kwikset lock to my front door key. It worked. Omitting the need for separate keys. this alone was an unsuspecting but nice additional feature. Installation was easy enough as I had installed one similar before. Still amazed I was able to reset the lock to match a preexisting 2nd door
