## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it work well for cutting standard alloy handlebars, or does a standard blade work better for alloy?  Would cutting alloy damage this blade?**
A: I would recommend a standard metal cutting blade for aluminum. This blade has abrasive material bounded to it that would come off quickly trying to cut metal. It lasts a long time cutting carbon and other softer materials.

**Q: Can this blade be used with any other ordinary hacksaw? or the blade only fits Part Tool hacksaw?**
A: You can use it on any hacksaw, I picked up a regular one from Ace hardware and this blade fits in it just fine.

**Q: Will this blade work with any miter box?**
A: This blade is slightly thicker than a traditional hacksaw blade, so it requires a miter saw that has the correct spacing. Park Tools sells specific miter boxes to fit both types of blades. I imagine other companies do also.

**Q: Can this be used to cut carbon arrows?**
A: I am no fletcher but I know a little carbon composites. When I cut bicycle steer tubes It works very well. However that is with a commercial saw guide which insured a perfectly straight cut. Perhaps you can improvise something to keep the saw blade at a perfect right angle to the carbon rod. Good luck!
