Cheap Tele-style guitar that somehow became my main player
I bought this Glarry Tele-style guitar as a budget pickup and didn’t expect much. Somehow, it’s the guitar I reach for most, even though I own several higher-end brand guitars. The neck was unfinished when it arrived, which might not be for everyone, but I finished it myself with Tru-Oil and it now feels smooth and fast. No sharp fret ends, and tuning stability has been solid once the strings settled. Action was playable right out of the box, though a basic setup makes it even better. Tone is bright and punchy in a very Tele way. Clean tones are clear and snappy, and it handles overdrive better than expected. The pickups aren’t high-end, but they’re balanced and usable without sounding thin or muddy. Build quality is better than the price suggests. I also swapped the pickguard, which was an easy fit and helped personalize the look without any issues. Finish was clean, electronics worked properly, and nothing felt loose. This won’t replace a premium Telecaster, but it’s fun, playable, and inviting—which explains why I keep grabbing it instead of my expensive guitars. Great value for beginners, modders, or experienced players wanting a no-stress Tele-style guitar.

Well worth the money
I own several guitars- most are within the $600 range and one I got for $1300, but never had a "Tele". With that said, this guitar is very decent for the money. Yes, you will most likely have to "adjust" a few things to make it comfortable to play, but again, for the money it is very decent. Here are my immediate plans for this guitar, in order of importance- 1. Replace the strings. *I just did this and it's already a game changer. The ones it comes with are dull sounding and they will turn your fingers and the fretboard BLACK! (I recommend doing this before playing. I wish I had!) 2. File the ends of the nut. The nut on mine has very sharp ends and as soon as I locate my file set (we just moved) I'm going to soften them a bit. I will end up replacing it eventually. 3. De-satin the neck. It has a funky feel to it which I find unpleasant. 4. Either replace or wax pot the pups. As a lot of Youtube videos mention, they are very microphonic. If you don't plan on playing it at higher volumes you will be fine. After changing the strings I sat down and played for at least an hour and was really surprised at how good it sounds, both clean and dirty. This is without a doubt the best $78 guitar I've ever purchased!

Build Quality is very good-good value overall
Tools are included as well as a strap and pick. There is a very thin bag with it. Perfect for keeping the dust and moisture off of it. If you intend to move this around often, a padded bag will be much better and they are not expensive. If this is your first guitar, get a good padded bag. The body has a gloss finish that is smooth and glossy all over. Very well done. The body is basswood and very light weight. This is a 4-bolt, bolt-on neck and the backplate is very well done with a black gasket around it. All of the hardware is nice and bright. Tuners work well. The action down low in the open chord region is just fine but as you go up the neck it gets a bit out of range for optimal play. The strings as delivered are fine but this would always be the first thing that gets changed on a new guitar or bass (unless it ships with your favorite brand installed). We have not tried to adjust the neck yet because it's perfectly acceptable as-is. The neck has a matte finish and has a great feel and is not glossy. The neck radius feels very good. Most players I know tend to like the matte finish on a guitar neck. There is some slight fret-sprout. I would expect this on a new guitar like this that has traveled through different climates and was probably built quickly and not seasoned. Sprout is not an issue at this time but we will file them a bit. This has a traditional 3-saddle telecaster-style bridge. I've heard that they work fine. Overall, 4 stars for now! We will run this through some amps, change strings, adjust the neck action and see how the wood adjusts to the climate changes before we attend to the fret-sprout. Will update the review.

Great Tele for $100
Man what a great guitar!! As soon as I opened the case and saw it, I was in love!! Then I plugged it up, the tone is soo sweet I'm might just be a diabetic now!! I am an aspiring luthier so I checked everything out. Ready to play right out of the box!! For a cheap guitar it holds its tune quite well. Only issue I have is the fret ends were a bit sharp for my liking. Quick file down with my end file took care of that! Overall I am extremely pleased with my Glarry!!

Don't be fooled by price.
Waaaay better than expectations! The finish on this is flawless. I looked closely and it is like glass. Obviously it's not a top brand guitar for $$$, but it tunes well and holds its tune well. The sound resonates nicely for me. Those who may claim low-end components likely own high end guitars already. It can be a great starting point to build your own by upgrading stings and maybe components after your first album goes platinum.
